Library Core Hours and Response Times

Please be aware:

  • An Urgent Patient Care Request is intended for emergency / urgent clinical care for patients.
  • Rush requests are defined as same day service.
  • Other requests are considered to be normal requests and are typically filled within 1-3 days.

We try to respond to urgent patient care requests as soon as possible, but at times we have limited staff available.

Article Retrieval / Interlibrary Loan services are staffed 0700-1730, Monday-Friday.

Literature Search services are staffed 0900-1500, Monday-Friday. 

Also of note: This form generates an external email, which sometimes can be delayed up to 15 minutes. Feel free to follow-up with a call to our circulation desk (301-295-1184).
