Q. How can I securely send large files?

Department of Defense Secure Access File Exchange (SAFE) is a web-based tool that provides authenticated DoD CAC users the capability to securely send and receive large files, including files that are too large to be transmitted via email.

The service can be used to securely transfer unclassified data to include: 

• For Official Use Only (FOUO)
• Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
• Protected Health Information (PHI).
