One of the Darnall Medical Library's mobile resources is BrowZine, intended to help you keep up to date with medical literature by forwarding your favorite journals' table of contents to your mobile device. They've expanded from mobile to web based, and now provide an extension for the Chrome browser, called LibKey Nomad. Click here for more information from the vendor.

While this cannot be installed on DOD computers, it is something to consider if you have an EZproxy remote access account and read medical journals at home.

If you have the LibKey Nomad extension installed with Chrome, when you search Chrome you'll see a link if an article is available via a Darnall Medical Library subscription. Click on it, and you'll be initially prompted to login with EZproxy, but then you should be authenticated for the remainder of your browser session.

This is new as of fall 2019, so if you have any questions or feedback, don't hesitate to contact us.
