We work with a vendor (Third Iron) who manages information about e-journal holdings, authentication and article linking to provide one-click access to PDFs. However, they do not have partnerships with every publisher. If an article comes from a publisher that they work with, the link should go straight to PDF. Note that our aggregators (ClinicalKey, EBSCO, Ovid, ProQuest) and some of our big publishers (BMJ, ScienceDirect, NEJM, Oxford, SAGE, Springer, T&F, and Wiley) do work with Third Iron. Their links should go straight to PDF.

If the article comes from a source that is not working with Third Iron, the link will go to our link resolver. Clicking on "Article" should take you to the article you're looking for.

As always, if you are having difficulty accessing content, please reach out to us. We'll get you the information you need and troubleshoot the problem.
