Command Check Out

If you're leaving WRNMMC, please stop by the library, Building 1, Room 3458, or contact us. If checking out via e-mail, please send your mail.mil email address. We'll check to see if you have any materials checked out, and will send you an email indicating whether or not you're cleared.

Will I still have access to the DML resources?

Unfortunately, only those working at / credentialed with WRNMMC may access DML electronic resources. We base our license agreements on those numbers, and to allow others access would violate those agreements. The medical library at your new post will provide your information needs, and you will find that the medical libraries have many resources in common.

If you are assigned to a facility that does not have a library, you will still have access to core clinical resources purchased by the various military services. The links below should get you started.

What if I'm going somewhere with poor internet?

We have some point of care (UpToDate, DynaMed) DVDs available to those leaving the command for remote areas. We have limited numbers, and, though we can request more, it can take time for the DVDs to get here. Reach out to the library team for assistance, and let us know the following: 1) When do you leave the command? 2) Do you want UpToDate, DynaMed, or both? and 3) Will be using the DVD on a Windows or iOS computer?
