We receive funding for our book purchases at the beginning of the fiscal year or when congress distributes our funding for the fiscal year (e.g. distribution of funds are affected by Continuing Resolutions (CR)).  We purchase our books through a Library of Congress contract which typically has funding in place and the contract finalized by March. We are happy to accept recommendations for book purchases at any time of the year. 

To request that the library purchase a book, please provide the title, author, and publication date. Note: We do not purchase books published more than five years ago. Books published more than five years ago may be approved as an office / clinic copy (see information below).
